Akanksha and Praveen are India’s premiere award-winning natural history filmmakers known for their extreme passion and brilliant story-telling. With a career spanning over two decades, the couple has been documenting some of the most rare and endangered species across India.
Through their films, they use strong stories, breathtaking visuals and acknowledged experts to bring narratives to the screen and also create empathy towards the natural world and expose the need for conservation.
Between them, they have the experience of filming in extremely high pressure – high demand settings that range from jungles to tent pole films to big block busters and mega series, from crafting scripts to negotiating complex co-productions deals.
Their work has been recognised at the highest level and have won many acclaimed awards, including the Student Emmy and the National Film Awards. They have also been nominated at Wildscreen and Jacksonhole.
